Hey lovelies!
Unfortunately I'm terrible about keeping my own deadlines in regards to my books, especially when I keep saying I'm going to finish one and end up working on the other instead. I had decided this summer to send out chapter by chapter the entirety of At Forest's Edge, but that didn't seem to work as I only got so far as sending out the Prologue.
On the other hand, I have found the email address I used to create my DeviantArt account, and as a result have been able to log back in for the first time in years. My thoughts? Start in on posting some of the writing stuff there, maybe. The DeviantArt community has been good about reading my work and responding in the past, so my hope is that I'll be able to get the same support and guidance from them as I have before. Fortunately for me, the Creative Commons license provided by posting my work on DeviantArt will allow me to later publish my work when I've finished. It will however, make the entirety of my work available to you immediately instead of making you hold out for a book you have to pay for. That is not to say you won't have to pay for the book eventually. When I finally get the book together to be published, all of the chapters on DeviantArt will be pulled down.
The other thing about re-opening my DeviantArt account is that I now have enough control over it that I am more than willing to let you all see where it is and what I was up to writing wise and drawing wise in high school. I will also tell you now - I am no longer an "anime geek". Yes, I still have a few DVDs and mangas, but most of the work you will see is from a phase I am no longer in.
This does not hold true for the original comic book art (of which I think there is only one posted). Also, I still love Fray dearly, and really enjoy comic books still. I am still collecting Buffy, Season 8. I love Fables, but am so far behind. I also enjoy walking through comic book stores. Also, if anyone can find a copy of Gunnerkrigg Court, Vol II for less than $75, I would be eternally grateful.
So in the end: If you would like to check out my DeviantArt page, here it is:
